What makes The Crowning Closet unique is that it’s also a place to find valuable pageant resources. One of our resources is located in our BECOME section. The BECOME section features pageant and fashion insiders who contribute monthly articles about tips, advice, and share stories of their success to better help YOU BECOME a winner! However, the best part of The Crowning Closet is the KNOW section. Our KNOW section puts YOU “in the know” with the TOP vendors in the pageant industry. Whether you’re wanting to find a pageant coach for that extra bit of polish for your next competition or you are searching for the perfect photographer to start building your portfolio, we put you in contact with them all! There is so much waiting for you inside the doors of The Crowning Closet! BUYING AND SELLING How do I SELL items on The Crowning Closet? Selling is SUPER easy inside The Crowning Closet. Select the SELL button from our homepage and complete the easy to use “Sellers Form.” Does it cost anything to SELL my items on The Crowning Closet? Unlike most online consignment and trading services, The Crowning Closet does not take a percentage of the final purchase for item you sell. However, there is a nominal service charge of $3.99/item to post onto our website. Each item remains on our website for up to one year, or until sold. Also, if you want your item to be seen FIRST, before all the others, and get special attention – your item can be in our FEATURED section. In order to post an item to our FEATURED section, you will need to fill out the “Sellers Form” and select “FEATURED” from the menu. The fee for a featured item is $9.99/item and remains on our site as a FEATURED item for up to one year, or until sold. How long will it take for my items to be posted on to The Crowning Closet site, and made available for potential buyers, once I have completed the “Sellers Form?” Not long at all! It will only take 1-3 days for your items to post. How much is shipping? Shipping is determined between the buyer and seller. Please be sure to inquire about shipping with the seller when making arrangements to purchase an item. What is the difference between a FEATURED item and a non-featured item? FEATURED items get a little more special treatment than the other items. FEATURED items are shown on the BUY selection menu page and are also featured at the TOP of each specific category’s page, giving sellers the opportunity to display their items above all the others and buyers a chance to view these items FIRST! It is only a few dollars more per item to be shown in the FEATURED section and each post remains as a FEATURED item for up to one year or until item is sold. I see an item I like, how do I find out more information? You can first click on the picture of the item you are interested in to view a larger image, more images, and more information. If you still have questions, click on the “CONTACT SELLER” button for that item and it will allow you to send a direct e-mail to the seller for you to inquire about items and/or make a purchase. How do I buy an item? When you find an item you are interested in, click on the “CONTACT SELLER” button for that item and it will allow you to send a direct e-mail to the seller. Be sure that you read The Crowning Closet’s Terms and Conditions before buying an item. What should I do once my item has sold? Once your item has sold, please e-mail The Crowning Closet at sell@thecrowningcloset.com alerting us that the item has sold so that we may remove it from our site. BECOME SECTION How do I submit an article for the BECOME section? If you are interested in giving advice, telling your story of success, or listing valuable tips on how girls can BECOME a winner, please email submissions to The Crowning Closet at info@thecrowningcloset.com. Please include in your e-mail your background and experience, as well as what you are interested in writing about.
